O'tooles campground to Walhalla Rd via Army, North East & Dream creek Tk

24.8 km

Leaving O'tooles campground we turned left onto Donnelly Creek Tk. All of Donnelly has been graded with the upcoming fire season I would suggest. Patches of bulldust that will only get worse with more traffic. Turning right onto Army track at Store Point Hut. Army Track has also been graded. Parts of this were loose but the first steep pinch the grader has revealed the rock shelf underneath the track surface giving points of perfect grip for the tyres. The grader has also made steep whoopty doos. I'm driving a 2016 Ranger with a 2" lift & 31's and I bottomed out on most of these. Just passing Williamsons Spur Tk the views are great. Then it's a right onto One Speck track, right onto North East track and this is narrow most of the time as well as Dream Creek Track which is the next right turn. Coming across another vehicle or convoy wouldn't be easy to deal with here. You will also receive a bit of pin striping on the duco, so if this isn't your cup of tea don't do this track. I'm hopeful a cut & polish will deal with most of these though. North East Tk doesn't have the entry point shown on Hema. Even the 2nd right you are supposed to take doesn't exist so take the 1st right available and that will take you from North East Tk onto Dream Creek Track. When on Dream Creek track the back end of the hill heads down to Yarram Creek. If wet this would be sketchy but L1 in the dry with good wheel placement will get you down this no worries. Yarram Creek is a nice sized creek crossing and then it's a rutted steep little exit out the other side, another steep ascent up to Wahalla Rd.

Wahalla Rd to O'tooles campground

10.5 km

It's interesting that this track has been labelled with a black diamond. Track is graded at the moment and it's very dusty in a few places. Very easy drive. 1st photo is an drone photo of the Junction crossing. 2nd photo is the Donnelly Creek Road exit out of the crossing, 3rd Photo is entering the crossing from the Donnelly Creek Rd side, 4th is the Williamsons Spur Track exit out of the Junction crossing
