Yengo NP - Big Yengo
44.3 kmA solo over nighter in the Yengo.
First time using the HEMA explorer and there will be many more to come.
Rescued a Koala (Scruffy) which was just sitting in the middle of the road on George Downs dr. on the way to Yengo
In all it was satisfying and I recommend it for the family style camping as there are amenities and the Yengo Lodge to stay in if you want to glamp.
I chose to camp at Riley's Paddock as it was a bit of a challenge to get there, I'm guessing no one has been there for years as the track is almost gone is some areas in the lower Nowlands trail. It was perfect for me as it was very secluded.
You will need to acquire the key to get in from the NSWNP at Gosford, you can pick up or have it mailed to you (book the key two weeks in advance if mail is the option)
Cheers
Chris
