If you elect to follow this Route you should have sufficient recovery gear, preferably including a winch.
Deflate your tyres.
Ensure that you have sufficient daylight hours to make the return journey before dark.
There is a very real possibility that you will get stuck and/or do vehicle damage.
There is a local farmer who charges $400 (2018) for recovery - after you have walked many kilometres through loose, black sand. Think:
