Flagstaff to Havasupai point
176.9 kmWe started this Track at the Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff. You can pick it up anywhere prior to the Main south entrance to the Grand Canyon.
Once you turn off on the dirt, follow the track, we attempted to avoid the Reservation Land, because there is a cost of $25 to cross it. The gate was locked to bypass, so we ended up just paying the fee.
They did not give us a receipt, but the Reservation Ranger that we paid, was also the one patrolling when we came back through, super nice guy, just be aware, you may want to remember the name of whomever you pay.
As you get close to the rim the trail gets a little narrow, a large pickup may have some clearance issues, don't be fooled by the first few rim view campsites you see... go all the way to the point!
